Thanks for the video. However, when I try to program the new remote opener and I press the Learn button on the unit, the LED light comes up and almost simultaneously the unit light clicks and comes up, and the LED indicator light starts blinking rapidly, with no time to teach it for the new remote opener. The LED light keeps blinking constantly. What could be the problem?

Can you clarify what you mean by "oil the filter" for the prefilter? Do you need to wash it at all?

Mine does everything but heat up. The tray spins, it hums, the light goes on, the clock works, everything works, but it doesn't heat food. Do you know what that might be?

Could have brought your poured-solution water line up to about 1/2" from the tank lip. Everything inside could be submerged, including the plastic fill-hose and the flushvalve. That way, everything would get cleaned. After several flushes, pour fresh tap water over top the flushvalve and fill hose and everything's clean with no scrubbing.

Most of my machines have this bypass done. I don't feel that tgere is a great danger to children climbing in an agitating washer. Just my opinion, but there are plenty more dangers like stoves etc. Climbing in freezers. Btw, do freezers alk have locks nowadays ? What about the danger of one child locking the other inside a downstairs freezer. Good God, now that's scary

What is the actual measurement of the belt ? I've been trying to do mine but something isn't right. The belt that mtd suggests does not fit ( too short) I have tried everything.

What do I do if the temp runs away high on you? Crack the lid and burp it down then choke it off more? Having difficulty keeping it low around 250. I did just recal my temp gauge. It was a little high. But worried this is gonna run up on me when I walk away from it

I’m hoping that someone in the know re electrical issues can help me please. I just had a friend hook up a fan/light kit for me and the fan works but the lights don’t. The original light fixture had a pull chain and no switch on the wall for it. The new fan/light system also has pull chains … Could it be that the lights won’t work without there being a main switch?

How did you know it was the T Con that needed to be replaced? Mine turns on, but I can't select a source or any menu items. After about 5 minutes a screen saver image shows up so I know it's not anything to do with the actual LED Display. I was thinking I needed to replace the main board, but then I came across this video. It's the first time I've heard of the T Con Board.

i just used some CLR. Tank was WAY worse then the one in video. Let it set over night/ a little scrubbing and its like 99% better than it was.

A mountain out of a mole hill. Just replaced this seal in the lavatory in my church, you don't even need to turn off the water supply if you can work rapidly or loop a zip tie over the float to hold it up. The great seal debate stems from the blue die in the original seal not being happy with certain types of water around the country. AS has rolled out a new version that should solve most every issue. I have had the original blue one at my home last for 6 years, and still working, must be liking the water at my home.

Just replaced a 12-year old expansion tank due to a pinhole leak near the top on the side of the tank. Water on nearby wall and puddle around the hot water heater were the clue to check. When removed, the tank was found to be full of water. Possible the bladder failed allowing water to contact the interior metal surface of the tank that caused the tank to rust. New tank was already pressured to 45 psi and was adjusted to match hose-faucet pressure before installation as shown in video. Hot water heater itself appears to be fine otherwise.

The idea and concept is great. Make sure you use aluminum or stainless screws. If the screws in this video rust, it will run down the shudder and then you have a mess. It will be tough to get the rust off the vinyl.

My garage door opener closes part way then reverses and comes back up. I have cranked the DOWN force screw all the way and it still clutches and comes back up - without any blinking light (so it is not the sensors). I can get it down by holding the remote button down, but this still takes several iterations to get it to close all the way. Any ideas? All mountings are tight - the clutching happens even when the garage door is unattached to the opener (no load, still fails on way down). Open works fine...

I have a virtually identical oven but the lower element is covered. Both elements aren’t working so no heat at all yet everything else involving the control board is working fine (oven light, clicking sound calling for heat, clock, lower oven of my double oven). Is it reasonably possible both elements in the upper oven stopped working at same time or is it more likely something else is wrong such as the control board or a temp sensor?
